- Wildlife Conservation & Habitat Management: Monitoring populations, restoring habitats, managing sensitive and endangered species, and constructing features such as water catchments to support wildlife during dry seasons.
- Fishing and Boating Programs: Issuing fishing licences, stocking more than 180 waters in the state, regulating sportfish activities, and offering community lakes and resources for anglers of all skill levels.
- Hunting and Game Management: Offering hunting licences and permit draws, publishing regulations (bag limits, seasons, open areas), and managing game species to balance recreation with conservation.
